Let’s have a look at the reasons why this country has become a popular destination for both tourists and international students.

Australia as an Educational Country

Australia has several advantages as a destination for students who want to study there. First, education costs and living costs are quite low compared to the costs in European countries. Second, visa processing procedures in Australia are faster and easier.

Four-season Country

All regions in Australia have four seasons, except for tropical regions located in the north which only have rainy and dry seasons. Summer occurs in December-February; autumn occurs in March-May; winter comes in June-August; while spring is usually in September-November. Summer with the highest temperature usually occurs in the state of Darwin which reaches 31.8ºC, whereas winter with the lowest temperature usually occurs in the state of Hobart which reaches 11.9ºC.

Traveling Freely

Australia has five types of transportation that can help you travel from one place to another, namely trams, trains, buses, ferries, or cars (taxi or uber). Besides saving some money, the advantages of traveling with public transportation are that they have regular operational schedules and are always on time.

National Festivals and Art Events

Australia has various national festivals that are very unique and attractive. The examples are the Adelaide Festival where you can see dance, theater, opera and music performances together. In addition to that, there are also the Melbourne Cup and Boxing Day.  The country also presents various kinds of entertainment events such as live music concerts and musical theaters that are spread across several cities and are accessible by students.

The Land of Kangaroos

Australia known as the land of kangaroos, this is because this country has more kangaroos than the number of Australians themselves. In fact, the “Kangaroo Management Plan” was formed to control the birth of kangaroo species in the country. Make sure you spend time to visit a rural area or a zoo so you can interact with kangaroos directly from their natural habitat.
