Angie Davina Tjandra – 2022 Study NSW International Student of the Year Awards!
In 2018, our student from Medan, Angie Davina Tjandra, graduated with a B.Eng (Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering) from University of Sydney with Hons I & The University Medal. Angie was also a recipient of “The NSW IChemE and Joint Chemical Engineering Committee of NSW Prize for the Best Undergraduate Thesis” by the Faculty of Engineering & IT. It is such an honor to see the progress of one of our outstanding students from Medan.
Angie, who is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering in University of New South Wales, Australia has successfully achieved several awards. Her 3 recent achievements are :
- 2022 Study NSW International Student of the Year Awards – UNSW Finalist (NSW Government)
- Best Oral Talk by PhD student at the 12th Nanomedicine Conference (2022)
- 2022 CSL Florey Next Generation Award (UNSW Engineering Finalist)
During her studies, she is actively involved in community engagement and has over 10 years of experience, she is currently the founding member & president of the Chemical Engineering Research Society (CERS) at the School of Chemical Engineering, UNSW.
